Minor changes that you make yourself, such as updating your event description, images or other content, do not trigger email notifications to supporters.

Some important changes, such as changing your event date, time, venue or cancelling your event, must be requested through Gigstarters before they can be applied.

If your event is cancelled, Gigstarters will notify affected supporters by email with information about what happens next, including any applicable refunds.

For other approved event changes, Gigstarters does not automatically email supporters. As the organiser, you are responsible for keeping your supporters informed about any updates to your event.

We recommend communicating approved changes as soon as possible using your own communication channels. Your supporters are attending your event because of you, and they will expect to receive important event updates directly from the organiser.
