Gigstarters uses a demand-validation model.

Supporters can book tickets during the campaign period, but payment is only processed once the campaign reaches its ticket goal and the event is confirmed.

Once the goal is reached:

• The gig is confirmed.
• Supporters are notified.
• Payment processing begins.
• Ticket sales can continue until the event date or until the event sells out.
