What’s the difference between tickets and add-ons?

Tickets provide access to an event.

Add-ons are optional extras that supporters can purchase alongside their tickets.

A supporter must select at least one ticket before they can purchase add-ons.

Examples of tickets:

  • General Admission
  • VIP
  • Early Bird
  • Weekend Pass

Examples of add-ons:

  • Merchandise
  • Parking passes
  • Drink vouchers
  • Workshop materials
  • Meet-and-greet upgrades

Tickets determine whether a supporter can attend the event.

Add-ons enhance the event experience but do not grant entry on their own.

Tickets and add-ons are managed separately and have their own inventory settings. This allows organisers to control event capacity independently from merchandise, upgrades or other optional extras.
