When creating a promotion, you’ll be asked to enter both a promo name and a promo code. Although they work together, they serve different purposes.

Promo name

The promo name helps you identify and manage your promotions in your organiser dashboard. It is also displayed to supporters during checkout when the promotion is applied, making it easier for both you and your supporters to recognise the offer.

Promo/Disco code

The promo code is the code supporters enter during checkout to redeem the promotion. This is the code you’ll typically share in your marketing, social media posts or partner campaigns.

• Promo Name: Early Bird Launch
• Promo Code: EARLY20

Using clear, descriptive promo names makes it easier to manage multiple promotions, while keeping promo codes short and memorable makes them easier for supporters to use.
