What do the different ticket statuses mean?

Your ticket status shows whether your ticket is valid for entry and whether any action is required. To view your current ticket status, log in to your Gigstarters account and open the relevant ticket.

Common ticket statuses include:

Valid
Your ticket is active and ready for event entry.

If your ticket is marked as Valid, simply present the QR code at the event for check-in.

Used
Your ticket has already been scanned and redeemed for entry.

Used tickets cannot be scanned again.

If you believe your ticket has been incorrectly marked as Used, speak to event staff for assistance.

Cancelled
Your ticket has been cancelled and is no longer valid for entry.

This may occur if:

  • A refund has been processed.
  • The event has been cancelled.
  • The booking has otherwise been voided.

Cancelled tickets cannot be used for event entry.

Suspended
Your ticket has been temporarily suspended pending review or verification. This status is uncommon and may occur if there is an issue that requires further investigation.

If your ticket is marked as Suspended, contact Gigstarters support or the organiser for assistance.

Expired
An Expired ticket is no longer valid because the event or applicable entry period has ended.

Expired tickets cannot be used to enter the Event and are kept in your account as part of your booking history.
