What is Gigstarters and how does it work?
Gigstarters helps you launch events with greater confidence by showing you whether there’s enough supporter demand before you commit to running them.
Instead of guessing how many people might attend, you can validate demand first. This helps you make more informed decisions about whether to proceed with your event, reducing the risk of investing time, money and resources into an event that may not attract enough support.
Here’s how it works:
- Create your gig and set a ticket goal.
- Supporters reserve tickets while your campaign is live.
- If your campaign reaches its ticket goal before it ends, your event is confirmed and supporter payments are processed.
- If your campaign does not reach its goal, the event is not confirmed and supporters are not charged for their tickets.
Once your event is confirmed, you can continue selling tickets right up until your event takes place (unless you choose to pause sales), giving you the opportunity to welcome even more supporters beyond your initial ticket goal.
Gigstarters is designed to help you make decisions with greater certainty, so you can focus on creating experiences people genuinely want to attend.
