Before creating ticket types, you’ll need to choose how inventory will be managed for your event.

Gigstarters supports two inventory methods:

• Venue-capacity inventory
• Ticket-type inventory

The inventory method determines how ticket availability is controlled and when your event becomes sold out.

If you select venue-capacity inventory:

• Ticket quantities are automatically determined by the venue capacity.you define.
• All ticket types draw from the same shared inventory.
• Tickets continue selling until venue capacity is reached.

If you choose ticket-type inventory:

• You’ll set the quantity available for each ticket type individually.
• Each ticket type sells independently according to its own limit.

Once selected, you can proceed to create your ticket types.
