Preparing for a Confirmed Event
Confirmation is an exciting milestone.
Your event is officially going ahead, supporter payments have been processed, and your attention can shift from validating demand to delivering a great experience.
This stage often feels very different from running the campaign itself. During the campaign, the focus was building momentum and reaching your ticket goal. After confirmation, your priorities expand to include planning, communication and execution.
Some of the things you may start working on include:
- Finalising venue arrangements
- Coordinating suppliers, performers or speakers
- Reviewing staffing requirements
- Preparing check-in processes
- Confirming operational timelines
- Continuing to sell tickets
- Communicating important updates to supporters
At this stage, it’s also helpful to revisit your event page and ask yourself a simple question:
Does the information supporters see still accurately reflect what I intend to deliver?
If details have changed, update them early and communicate clearly.
Confirmation isn’t the end of the journey. It’s the point where your planning starts becoming reality.
