Managing Ticket Inventory

Ticket inventory determines how many supporters can book your event.

As your campaign progresses, you may decide to release additional ticket quantities in response to demand. Increasing inventory can be a useful way to accommodate growing interest without creating unnecessary pressure during the early stages of your campaign.

Before increasing ticket quantities, consider whether you can comfortably deliver the experience you’ve promised at a larger scale.

Think about factors such as:

  • Venue capacity
  • Staffing requirements
  • Operational logistics
  • Attendee experience
  • Safety considerations

While ticket quantities can generally be increased, reducing inventory is not permitted. This helps prevent situations where supporters reserve tickets only to find that availability has unexpectedly changed later.

Many organisers choose to begin with more conservative quantities and expand as confidence grows.

Managing inventory thoughtfully allows you to remain flexible while ensuring your event remains realistic and deliverable.
