Step-by-step guides to help you create and manage your gigs

Controlling Ticket & Add-on Sales

Once your ticket types and add-ons are published, their core details (such as name, price and description) cannot be edited.

This ensures that every supporter receives exactly what they booked, and that all purchases remain accurate and consistent.

However, you still have full control over whether each ticket type or add-on is available for sale.

Pausing and resuming sales

You can pause or resume sales of any ticket type or add-on at any time.

  • When sales are paused, the ticket or add-on remains visible on your event page.
  • Supporters will not be able to purchase it while it is paused.
  • When you resume sales, it becomes available for purchase again.

If you make a mistake

If you notice an error in pricing, naming or description, you cannot edit the existing ticket type or add-on after it has been published.

Instead, the recommended approach is to:

  1. Pause sales of the existing ticket type or add-on.
  2. Create a new ticket type or add-on with the correct details.
  3. Resume sales using the updated version.

Any tickets or add-ons already purchased will remain valid and must be fulfilled as originally described.
