Multi-Day Events

Gigstarters supports events that span multiple days, such as festivals, conferences, retreats and workshop series.

Before setting up a multi-day event, take some time to think through how attendees will experience it.

Will most people attend the entire programme, or are different days likely to appeal to different audiences? The answer will influence how you structure your event, communicate expectations and eventually set up your tickets.

You may choose to offer:

  • One ticket covering all days
  • Separate tickets for individual days
  • A combination of full-event and single-day passes

As you plan, consider:

  • Whether attendees are expected to participate in the full programme or selected sessions only
  • How entry and re-entry should work across different days
  • Whether capacity needs to be managed separately each day
  • How clearly supporters will understand the options available to them

If each day offers a distinct experience, separate ticket types are often easier for supporters to understand and easier for organisers to manage.

If your event is designed as one complete experience, a full-event approach may feel more natural.

The key is to structure your event in a way that matches how people are actually expected to attend.
