Organiser Policies
These Organiser Policies explain the operational rules and expectations that apply when using Gigstarters as an organiser.
They are designed to help organisers understand how Campaigns and Events work on the Platform, what is expected of organisers at each stage of the Event lifecycle, and how Gigstarters manages matters such as payouts, refunds, supporter communications and platform integrity.
These Policies form part of the Organiser Terms of Service. By creating, publishing or managing Campaigns or Events through Gigstarters, you agree to comply with these Policies, as updated from time to time.
Gigstarters may take action where these Policies are not followed, including restricting Campaign functionality, withholding payouts, suspending Events or terminating organiser access to the Platform.
1. Organiser Responsibilities
As an organiser, you are responsible for ensuring that the Campaigns and Events you publish through Gigstarters are accurate, lawful and delivered in accordance with the information presented to supporters.
Organisers are expected to act honestly, responsibly and in good faith when using the Platform.
1.1 Accurate Information
You must ensure that all information submitted through Gigstarters is accurate, complete and not misleading.
This includes, where applicable:
- Campaign descriptions
- Event details
- Ticket information
- Add-on information
- Venue details
- Event schedules
- Images and videos
- Pricing information
- Promotional materials
Information should be kept reasonably up to date throughout the Campaign and Event lifecycle.
1.2 Event Delivery
Once an Event confirms, organisers are expected to take all reasonable steps necessary to deliver the Event substantially as described on the Platform.
Organisers should ensure they have the resources, planning, staffing and operational arrangements required to fulfil their commitments to supporters.
Failure to fulfil a confirmed Event may result in Gigstarters taking action under the Organiser Terms of Service.
Organisers remain responsible for the successful delivery of their Events regardless of whether certain aspects of the Event are delegated to third parties.
1.3 Responsibility for Third Parties
Organisers remain responsible for the acts and omissions of persons engaged by them in connection with their Campaigns and Events.
This includes employees, contractors, performers, speakers, instructors, venues, suppliers, volunteers and other representatives involved in the planning, administration or delivery of an Event.
An organiser’s obligations under these Policies cannot be avoided by delegating responsibilities to third parties. Organisers remain accountable for ensuring that their Campaigns and Events comply with applicable laws, these Policies and the Organiser Terms of Service.
1.4 Licences, Permits and Compliance
Organisers are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licences, permits, approvals, permissions or authorisations required to operate their Campaigns and Events.
This may include requirements imposed by venues, regulators, local authorities or other third parties.
Gigstarters does not verify whether organisers have obtained such approvals and organisers remain solely responsible for compliance.
1.5 Communication Responsibilities
Organisers should respond to Gigstarters requests in a timely manner and take reasonable steps to communicate important Event updates to supporters.
Where significant changes occur, organisers are expected to cooperate with Gigstarters to ensure supporters receive clear and accurate information.
1.6 Professional Conduct
Organisers must use the Platform responsibly and in a manner consistent with maintaining supporter trust and confidence.
Organisers must not engage in conduct that may harm supporters, other organisers or the integrity of the Platform.
2. Campaign Rules
Campaigns are the first stage of every Gigstarters Event.
Campaigns allow organisers to validate demand before committing to an Event. Campaigns are subject to the following operational rules.
2.1 Campaign Eligibility
To publish a Campaign, organisers must:
- maintain an active organiser account;
- complete any required account verification processes;
- connect an eligible Stripe account;
- complete all mandatory Campaign information; and
- comply with applicable Gigstarters policies.
Gigstarters may refuse publication where these requirements have not been satisfied.
2.2 Campaign Duration
Campaigns may run for a maximum duration determined by Gigstarters from time to time.
Campaign end dates become fixed once a Campaign is published.
Campaigns cannot be extended or shortened after publication.
2.3 Ticket Goals
Each Campaign must include a ticket goal representing the minimum level of support required for the Event to proceed.
Ticket goals become locked once a Campaign is published.
Ticket goals cannot be reduced, increased or otherwise modified after publication.
Organisers should carefully determine ticket goals before publishing their Campaigns.
2.4 Event Timing Requirements
Events must comply with Gigstarters scheduling requirements in effect at the time of publication.
These requirements may include minimum notice periods between Campaign completion and Event commencement, as well as maximum timeframes between confirmation and Event delivery.
Gigstarters may reject Campaigns that do not satisfy these requirements.
2.5 Venue Information
Organisers are responsible for ensuring that venue information accurately reflects the intended Event arrangements.
Where a venue has not yet been finalised, organisers should provide supporters with sufficient information to understand the intended location and nature of the Event.
Venue details should be updated promptly if changes occur.
2.6 Draft and Scheduled Campaigns
Campaign drafts remain private and are only visible to organisers.
Scheduled Campaigns remain unavailable to supporters until their scheduled publication time.
Gigstarters does not guarantee that scheduled Campaigns will publish successfully where technical issues, compliance concerns or account restrictions arise prior to publication.
2.7 Publication Decisions
Gigstarters reserves the right to refuse, delay, suspend or remove Campaigns where Gigstarters reasonably believes that publication may:
breach applicable laws;
violate Gigstarters policies;
expose supporters to unreasonable risk;
damage the integrity of the Platform; or
otherwise be inappropriate for publication.
Publication of a Campaign does not constitute Gigstarters’ endorsement of the organiser or Event.
3. Event Confirmation Rules
Campaign confirmation marks the transition from a Campaign seeking support to an Event that is proceeding.
Once a Campaign confirms, organisers should begin preparing for Event delivery and fulfilment.
3.1 What Happens When a Campaign Confirms?
A Campaign confirms when it reaches its ticket goal before the Campaign ends.
When this happens:
- supporters are notified that the Event is proceeding;
- payment collection begins;
- tickets begin moving towards issuance;
- the Event becomes subject to the rules applying to confirmed Events; and
- organisers should begin final preparations for delivery.
Campaign confirmation represents a commitment by the organiser to deliver the Event substantially as described on the Platform.
3.2 Supporter Payment Collection
Supporters who backed a Campaign authorise payment collection when making their booking.
Once a Campaign confirms, Gigstarters and its payment partners will attempt to process the authorised payments.
Supporters are responsible for ensuring that their payment methods remain valid and capable of completing the transaction.
3.3 Failed Supporter Payments
In some situations, supporter payments may fail after a Campaign confirms.
Common reasons include:
- expired cards;
- insufficient funds;
- payment restrictions imposed by the issuing bank; or
- issues identified by payment providers.
Where a payment fails, supporters will generally receive notifications requesting that they update or resolve their payment method.
Gigstarters may provide supporters with multiple opportunities to remedy payment issues before cancelling the affected booking.
Organisers acknowledge that not all confirmed bookings will necessarily convert into completed transactions if supporter payments ultimately remain unresolved.
3.4 Ticket Issuance
Tickets are generally issued only after successful payment collection.
A confirmed Campaign does not automatically mean that all supporters have valid tickets.
Supporters whose payments remain unresolved may lose their booking entitlement in accordance with Gigstarters’ booking processes.
Organisers should rely on the Platform records available through their organiser dashboard when determining ticket status.
3.5 Continued Ticket Sales After Confirmation
Confirmation of a Campaign does not automatically close ticket sales.
Unless an Event becomes sold out or ticket sales are otherwise restricted, organisers may continue selling tickets until the Event takes place.
Supporters purchasing tickets after confirmation are purchasing tickets to a confirmed Event rather than backing a Campaign.
3.6 Organiser Responsibilities Following Confirmation
Following confirmation, organisers should:
- review supporter communications;
- monitor outstanding supporter payment statuses;
- finalise Event logistics;
- coordinate with venues and suppliers;
- prepare staffing and operational arrangements;
- monitor ticket inventory; and
- ensure Event information remains accurate.
Organisers are expected to take all reasonable steps necessary to deliver the confirmed Event successfully.
3.7 Confirmation Does Not Guarantee Full Attendance
Organisers acknowledge that confirmation indicates that the Campaign reached its ticket goal.
Confirmation does not guarantee that every supporter payment will be successfully collected, that all attendees will attend the Event, or that final attendance figures will match initial booking numbers.
Organisers remain responsible for managing their Events appropriately based on actual ticketing outcomes reflected through the Platform.
4. Managing Confirmed Events
Once an Event confirms, organisers are expected to deliver the Event substantially as described on the Platform.
Gigstarters recognises that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally require changes. However, changes to confirmed Events should be kept to a minimum and managed responsibly.
4.1 Updating Event Information
Organisers may update certain Event information after confirmation, including:
- Event descriptions;
- publicity images;
- YouTube links; and
- other non-material Event details approved by Gigstarters.
Organisers should ensure that Event information remains accurate throughout the Event lifecycle.
4.2 Venue Changes
Venue changes may be necessary from time to time.
Where venue changes occur, organisers should ensure that the replacement venue remains reasonably appropriate for the Event and communicate updated details to supporters promptly.
Gigstarters encourages organisers to minimise disruption and inconvenience to supporters when making venue changes.
Organisers remain responsible for all obligations arising from venue changes.
4.3 Material Event Changes
Material changes are changes that may significantly affect a supporter’s decision to attend an Event.
Examples may include:
- significant programme changes;
- headline performer changes;
- major reductions in Event scope;
- substantial changes to the nature of the Event; or
- other changes determined by Gigstarters to be material.
Organisers must notify Gigstarters before implementing material changes.
Gigstarters may require organisers to provide additional communications to supporters or take other steps to address supporter concerns.
Material changes may give rise to supporter refund rights in accordance with applicable Gigstarters policies.
4.4 Event Postponements
Gigstarters expects confirmed Events to proceed on their originally scheduled dates.
Postponements should only occur where reasonably necessary due to circumstances beyond the organiser’s control or other exceptional situations.
Examples may include:
- travel disruptions affecting key participants;
- public safety concerns;
- regulatory restrictions;
- venue unavailability arising unexpectedly; or
- other circumstances approved by Gigstarters.
Organisers must contact Gigstarters before announcing a postponement.
Gigstarters may require organisers to provide:
- reasons supporting the postponement request;
- proposed replacement dates;
- supporter communication plans; and
- any other information reasonably required.
Gigstarters may approve, reject or impose conditions on postponement requests.
Where postponements are approved, organisers must comply with supporter communication requirements and any applicable refund obligations.
4.5 Event Cancellations
Confirmed Events should only be cancelled as a last resort.
Organisers must notify Gigstarters before cancelling a confirmed Event.
Organisers may be required to provide supporting information relating to the cancellation and cooperate with Gigstarters throughout the cancellation process.
Event cancellations may result in:
- supporter refunds;
- chargebacks;
- payment processing costs;
- administrative costs;
- recovery actions;
- cancellation-related fees; and
- other liabilities arising from the cancellation.
Organisers remain responsible for obligations arising from Event cancellations.
4.6 Gigstarters Intervention
Gigstarters may intervene in relation to confirmed Events where Gigstarters reasonably believes that intervention is necessary to:
- protect supporters;
- investigate complaints;
- address Event delivery concerns;
- comply with legal obligations;
- mitigate operational or reputational risks; or
- preserve the integrity of the Platform.
Intervention may include:
- requesting additional information;
- directing supporter communications;
- restricting Event functionality;
- withholding payouts;
- facilitating refunds;
- suspending organiser access; or
- taking other actions reasonably necessary in the circumstances.
Organisers are expected to cooperate with Gigstarters in connection with any such intervention.
Failure to cooperate may result in enforcement action under the Organiser Terms of Service.
4.7 Force Majeure
Gigstarters recognises that certain circumstances beyond an organiser’s reasonable control may affect the delivery of an Event.
Examples may include:
- natural disasters;
- acts of government;
- public health emergencies;
- war or civil unrest;
- terrorism threats;
- widespread transport disruptions; or
- other extraordinary events beyond the organiser’s reasonable control.
Organisers remain responsible for communicating promptly with Gigstarters and supporters where such circumstances arise.
Gigstarters may work with organisers to determine appropriate measures, including postponement, cancellation or other reasonable arrangements, having regard to supporter interests and operational considerations.
5. Tickets and Add-Ons
Tickets and add-ons help organisers manage attendance, create different booking options and enhance the supporter experience.
Organisers are responsible for ensuring that ticket and add-on information accurately reflects what supporters will receive.
5.1 Ticket Information
Organisers should ensure that ticket names, descriptions, pricing and inventory settings are accurate before publication.
Once published, certain ticket details may become locked to maintain supporter trust and consistency.
Organisers should review ticket information carefully prior to making a Campaign or Event available for booking.
5.2 Ticket Inventory
Gigstarters supports different inventory models, including venue-capacity inventory and ticket-type inventory.
Organisers are responsible for selecting the inventory method most appropriate for their Event and ensuring that inventory allocations remain consistent with venue capacity and operational requirements.
Organisers should avoid overselling Events and maintain accurate attendance limits.
5.3 Ticket Changes After Publication
Certain ticket details cannot be changed after publication.
Restrictions may apply to:
- existing ticket names;
- existing ticket descriptions;
- existing ticket pricing; and
- reductions in ticket inventory.
Gigstarters may allow organisers to introduce new ticket types or increase inventory where operationally appropriate.
5.4 Add-Ons
Add-ons are optional extras purchased together with Event tickets.
Organisers remain responsible for ensuring that add-ons are accurately described and can be fulfilled as advertised.
Add-ons should only be offered where organisers reasonably expect to satisfy supporter demand.
5.5 Add-On Fulfilment
Where add-ons are offered, organisers should establish appropriate fulfilment processes to ensure supporters receive the products, services or experiences purchased.
Organisers remain responsible for managing inventory levels, redemption arrangements and supporter communications relating to add-ons.
5.6 Ticket and Add-On Records
Gigstarters maintains records relating to ticket sales and add-on purchases through organiser dashboards.
Organisers should rely on Platform records when managing attendance, fulfilment and Event operations.
Gigstarters reserves the right to determine the official status of tickets and add-ons recorded through the Platform.
6. Supporter Communications
Clear and timely communication helps supporters make informed decisions and contributes to positive Event experiences.
Organisers are expected to communicate responsibly when engaging with supporters.
6.1 Contacting Supporters
Organisers may contact supporters through methods made available by Gigstarters for legitimate Event-related purposes.
Examples include:
- Event reminders;
- venue updates;
Event instructions; - check-in information;
- Event changes; and
- other communications reasonably necessary for Event delivery.
6.2 Use of Supporter Information
Supporter information made available through Gigstarters may only be used for purposes connected with the administration and fulfilment of Campaigns and Events.
Organisers must not:
- sell supporter information;
- share supporter information with unauthorised third parties;
- use supporter information for unrelated purposes; or
- use supporter information in a manner inconsistent with applicable law.
6.3 Event Updates
Organisers should notify supporters promptly where significant Event updates occur.
This may include updates relating to:
- venue changes;
- Event schedules;
- Event requirements;
- postponements; or
- other matters likely to affect attendance.
Gigstarters may require organisers to issue specific communications in connection with material Event changes.
6.4 Professional Communications
Organisers should communicate respectfully and professionally with supporters.
Harassment, abusive conduct, misleading statements or communications inconsistent with Gigstarters policies may result in enforcement action.
7. Payouts and Financial Matters
Gigstarters works with Stripe to facilitate payment processing and organiser payouts.
Organisers should familiarise themselves with the payout processes applicable to confirmed Events.
7.1 Platform Fees
Gigstarters charges Platform Fees in connection with the operation of confirmed Events.
Applicable fees may be updated from time to time in accordance with Gigstarters policies and agreements with organisers.
Organisers remain responsible for all fees associated with their use of the Platform.
7.2 Stripe as Payment Processor
Stripe acts as Gigstarters’ payment processing partner.
Banking information, payout details and certain payment credentials are managed through Stripe and are not stored by Gigstarters.
Organisers are responsible for maintaining accurate Stripe account information.
7.3 Organiser Payouts
Payouts are generally initiated within three (3) to five (5) business days after the scheduled end time of an Event.
Actual payout timing may vary depending on:
- Stripe processing timelines;
- banking systems;
- verification requirements;
- investigations;
- disputes;
- chargebacks; or
- other circumstances affecting payout eligibility.
Gigstarters does not guarantee that payouts will always occur within a specific timeframe.
7.4 Payout Holds
Gigstarters may delay, withhold or restrict payouts where reasonably necessary.
Examples may include:
- supporter complaints;
- Event delivery concerns;
- suspected fraud;
- chargeback activity;
- compliance investigations;
- regulatory obligations; or
- outstanding organiser liabilities.
Gigstarters may require additional information before releasing payouts.
7.5 Credit Balance Statements
Credit Balance Statements displayed through organiser dashboards are internal bookkeeping tools used to track Platform-related adjustments and balances.
Credit Balance Statements:
- do not represent funds held on trust;
- do not constitute bank accounts;
- do not constitute stored value facilities;
- do not represent e-wallet balances; and
- do not reflect funds held by Stripe.
Organisers should refer to Stripe for information relating to actual funds held and payout status.
7.6 Payout History
Payout History records displayed through organiser dashboards provide historical information relating to payouts initiated through the Platform.
Payout History does not represent actual funds held by Stripe or Gigstarters.
Organisers should refer to Stripe to confirm current balances, payout statuses and funds held.
7.7 Negative Balances and Recovery
Where amounts become owing to Gigstarters, organisers may incur negative Credit Balances.
Gigstarters may recover outstanding amounts through:
- set-off against future payouts;
- deductions from future Platform activity;
- adjustments to Credit Balances;
- direct recovery requests; or
- other lawful recovery methods.
Organisers remain responsible for amounts owing to Gigstarters notwithstanding account suspension, Event cancellation or cessation of Platform use.
8. Refunds and Chargebacks
Gigstarters recognises that refund requests may arise from time to time. Organisers are expected to manage refunds responsibly and in accordance with applicable Gigstarters policies.
8.1 Organiser-Initiated Refunds
Organisers may choose to approve refunds at their discretion, subject to the rules and limitations of the Platform.
Refunds approved by organisers are generally processed as full order refunds.
Where a refund is approved, the entire order may be refunded, including all associated tickets and add-ons forming part of that order.
Partial refunds for individual items within an order may not be supported through the Platform.
Applicable fees and deductions may apply in accordance with Gigstarters policies.
8.2 Event Cancellation Refunds
Where a confirmed Event is cancelled, organisers may be required to cooperate with Gigstarters to facilitate supporter refunds.
Organisers remain responsible for obligations arising from Event cancellations, including associated costs and liabilities.
Gigstarters may recover amounts incurred in connection with Event cancellations in accordance with the Organiser Terms of Service.
8.3 Chargebacks
Supporters may raise chargebacks through their payment providers.
Organisers remain responsible for chargebacks arising from their Campaigns and Events.
Chargebacks may result in:
- investigation requirements;
- temporary payout holds;
- deductions from future payouts;
- negative Credit Balances; or
- additional recovery actions.
Gigstarters may require organisers to provide information reasonably necessary to respond to chargeback disputes.
8.4 Cooperation Obligations
Organisers are expected to cooperate promptly with Gigstarters in relation to refunds, disputes and chargeback investigations.
Failure to cooperate may result in enforcement action under the Organiser Terms of Service.
9. Trust, Safety and Platform Integrity
Gigstarters is committed to maintaining a trusted environment for supporters and organisers.
Organisers are expected to use the Platform responsibly and in good faith.
Organisers remain solely responsible for determining whether their Campaigns and Events are suitable, safe and lawful for their intended audiences.
Any review, approval or intervention by Gigstarters does not constitute certification that an Event is safe, appropriate or compliant with applicable laws.
9.1 Accurate Representation
Organisers must not publish Campaigns or Events containing information that is false, misleading or materially inaccurate.
Campaigns and Events should accurately reflect what supporters can reasonably expect to receive.
9.2 Circumvention
Organisers must not use Gigstarters to build audiences, validate demand or secure bookings with the intention of completing transactions outside the Platform.
Examples may include:
- directing supporters to alternative payment channels;
- encouraging supporters to cancel Platform bookings to purchase elsewhere;
- collecting payments outside Gigstarters for substantially the same Event; or
- otherwise bypassing Gigstarters’ processes.
Gigstarters may take enforcement action where circumvention is identified.
9.3 Misuse of Campaigns
Campaigns should be created with a genuine intention to deliver Events through the Platform.
Organisers must not repeatedly create Campaigns without reasonable intention to proceed where confirmation occurs.
Gigstarters may review an organiser’s historical use of the Platform when determining ongoing eligibility to publish Campaigns or Events.
Where Gigstarters reasonably believes that an organiser’s pattern of activity presents heightened operational, financial, reputational or supporter-related risks to the Platform, Gigstarters may impose proportionate measures designed to safeguard supporters and maintain the integrity of the Platform.
Such measures may include:
- enhanced verification requirements;
- additional documentation requests;
- publication restrictions;
- limitations on Campaign functionality;
- modified payout arrangements;
- administrative requirements;
- the introduction of reasonable administrative fees, eligibility requirements or other commercial conditions relating to continued use of the Platform; or
- other reasonable conditions designed to safeguard supporters and maintain the integrity and sustainability of the Platform.
Any such measures shall be proportionate to the risks identified and applied in accordance with Gigstarters’ applicable Terms, Policies and fee schedules in effect from time to time.
In exercising these rights, Gigstarters may consider factors including repeated cancellations of confirmed Events, repeated failures to fulfil confirmed Events, repeated policy breaches, persistent non-cooperation with
Gigstarters investigations, evidence of attempts to circumvent the Platform, or other conduct reasonably indicating elevated risk.
In determining whether additional commercial conditions may be appropriate, Gigstarters may consider factors such as repeated cancellations of confirmed Events, repeated failures to fulfil confirmed Events, persistent attempts to circumvent the Platform, repeated policy breaches, repeated creation of Campaigns without meaningful progression towards Event fulfilment over an extended period of time, or other conduct reasonably indicating that continued unrestricted access to the Platform may impose disproportionate operational, financial or reputational burdens on Gigstarters.
For the avoidance of doubt, the fact that a Campaign does not confirm shall not, by itself, constitute misuse of the Platform.
Gigstarters may remove or modify such measures where it reasonably determines that the relevant risks have been adequately addressed.
9.4 Organiser Performance Monitoring
Gigstarters may monitor organiser activity to help maintain supporter confidence and the integrity of the Platform.
In assessing organiser performance, Gigstarters may consider factors including:
- Event fulfilment history;
- cancellation history;
- supporter complaints;
- chargeback activity;
- refund patterns;
- responsiveness to Gigstarters requests;
- repeated policy breaches; and
- other indicators reasonably relevant to organiser reliability.
Where concerns arise, Gigstarters may impose additional requirements or safeguards, including:
- enhanced verification requirements;
- additional documentation requests;
- payout restrictions or extended payout review periods;
- publication restrictions;
- limitations on Campaign functionality; or
- other measures reasonably necessary to manage Platform risk.
Gigstarters may remove such measures once it reasonably determines that the relevant concerns have been adequately addressed.
9.5 Fraudulent Activity
Organisers must not engage in fraudulent, deceptive or dishonest conduct.
Examples may include:
- creating fictitious Events;
- manipulating booking activity;
- misusing supporter information;
- providing false documentation; or
- engaging in activities designed to undermine Platform integrity.
Gigstarters may report suspected unlawful activity to relevant authorities.
9.6 Cooperation with Investigations
Organisers are expected to cooperate with reasonable requests made by Gigstarters in connection with complaints, investigations or compliance matters.
Failure to cooperate may result in restrictions on Platform access.
10. Suspension and Enforcement
Gigstarters may take enforcement action where organisers fail to comply with applicable Terms or Policies.
Gigstarters will generally seek to act reasonably and proportionately in the circumstances.
10.1 Campaign Restrictions
Gigstarters may restrict, delay or remove Campaigns where concerns arise relating to compliance, supporter protection or Platform integrity.
10.2 Event Restrictions
Gigstarters may impose restrictions on confirmed Events where intervention is considered necessary.
This may include requiring organisers to provide additional information, supporter communications or operational assurances.
10.3 Account Suspension
Gigstarters may suspend organiser accounts temporarily while investigations are ongoing.
During suspension, organisers may lose access to certain Platform functions.
10.4 Account Termination
Gigstarters may terminate organiser access to the Platform where serious or repeated breaches occur.
Examples may include:
- fraud;
- repeated non-fulfilment of Events;
- serious misconduct;
- unlawful activity; or
- persistent failure to comply with Gigstarters requirements.
10.5 Financial Consequences
Suspension or termination does not remove an organiser’s responsibility for amounts owing to Gigstarters.
Outstanding liabilities may continue to be pursued following enforcement action.
11. Organiser Dashboard and Platform Records
Gigstarters provides organisers with access to dashboard tools intended to assist with Event administration.
Organisers should familiarise themselves with the purpose of each dashboard function.
11.1 Orders
Orders record supporter bookings and Event purchases associated with an organiser’s Campaigns and Events.
Orders may include bookings awaiting payment collection as well as completed purchases.
Not all Orders necessarily result in completed transactions.
11.2 Transactions
Transactions record completed payment activity processed through the Platform.
Transaction records may include information such as:
- order identifiers;
- transaction identifiers;
- supporter details;
- purchase dates;
- transaction dates;
- payment amounts; and
- transaction statuses.
Transactions represent payments that have been successfully processed.
11.3 Platform Records
Dashboard information is provided to assist organisers with Event administration.
Organisers should exercise reasonable care when relying on dashboard information and notify Gigstarters if material discrepancies are identified.
Gigstarters reserves the right to determine the authoritative status of Platform records where disputes arise.
11.4 Organiser Records
Organisers should maintain appropriate records relating to their Campaigns and Events, including licences, permits, supplier arrangements and supporter communications where relevant.
Gigstarters may request supporting documentation in connection with investigations, disputes, chargebacks or compliance reviews.
Failure to retain or provide relevant records may affect Gigstarters’ ability to assist organisers in resolving disputes.
12. Changes to these Policies
Gigstarters may update these Organiser Policies from time to time.
Updated versions may be published through the Platform or otherwise communicated to organisers.
Organisers should review these Policies periodically to ensure continued compliance.
Continued use of the Platform following the effective date of updated Policies constitutes acceptance of the revised Policies.
Gigstarters may introduce, modify, suspend or discontinue Platform features, functionality or operational processes from time to time.
Organisers acknowledge that continued development of the Platform may result in changes to workflows, administrative requirements and available services.
